Brightline trains delivered to Florida

The first of five trainsets for Florida’s new Brightline passenger service has been delivered from Siemens’ California assembly plant. The special move departed from Sacramento, Calif., on December 8, and arrived in Floriday on December 13, towed by a Union Pacific SD70M for the entire trip. Brightline will be operated by All Aboard Florida, a sister company to Florida East Coast Railway, which will also be the host of the new service operating between Miami, West Palm Beach, and Orlando in 2017.
