According to a post on Brightline’s official Facebook page, limited service between Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach, Fla., will begin the week of January 8. No timeline has been announced for the opening of service to downtown Miami. Brightline is a diesel higher-speed rail system being developed by All Aboard Florida, a wholly owned subsidiary of Florida East Coast Industries.
