NJ Transit train crashes into Hoboken Terminal

NJ Transit Pascack Valley Line train No. 1614 crashed through the bumping block and into the passenger concourse at Hoboken Terminal on September 29, killing one person and injuring more than 100. The cab car was leadig with GP40PH-2B No. 4214 pushing from the rear. The one fatality was caused when debris from the concourse roof came crashing down. Immediately following the rush-hour accident, all commuter rail service in and out of Hoboken was suspended while the investigation was ongoing.
